These are French legal terms. We keep them in French because they name
obligations that exist only under French law, and translating them
would give you a word you could not use with your syndic.

- Copropriété
- a French condominium: both the building held in shared ownership and the legal body of its owners
- Syndic
- the managing agent of a French condominium, appointed by the owners and legally responsible for running the building
- Assemblée générale
- the general meeting of the owners, which votes works and budgets
- Fonds de travaux
- the reserve fund a French condominium builds up to pay for works
